NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifying Top Coat Review and Swatches

I found this baby at Target the other day, it was the only one left and Boy! am I glad I got it. I love anything matte, including matte face powder, matte foundation, matte blush, eyeshadow, you name it! and matte nails are no exception. Although matte nails are supposed to be worn during winters, I do enjoy them during summers as well, whenever I get bored with the shiny nail polishes, and its fun. So without further ado, here's how this cutie looks.

The back shows the shade number and name along with a peel me sticker which opens to show the ingredients and directions of use.

This is how the polish and brush look. Its your average nail polish brush, nothing fancy and the polish looks like a thick transparent whitish shade but it does not apply white.

I applied it on the nail polish that I already had on my fingers for a few days.

Application was easy and non messy and it dries pretty fast. This is just one coat and that is more than enough. Doesn't it look awesome? I thought so. Now I can make all my nail polishes look matte for under $2. It also lasts as long as the original nail polish lasts. So the lasting power depends on the formula and staying power of the original nail polish you have before applying this. I think this is pretty great for such a low price. You get an amount of 0.33 oz (9.7 ml) for $1.99 at Target. I might even go pick up a couple more of these once they are available. I recommend this to anyone who likes matte nails.
